Shotgun Sally Trading Co is a woman-owned company that specializes in firearms safety training and range accessories.
Our mission is to connect Central Coast women to personal defense classes and coaching resources by providing access to education, tools and instructors in a safe and fun community.
At Shotgun Sally, we believe that every woman and girl has the right to feel safe and empowered, and our classes are designed to give our students the knowledge and skills they need to handle firearms safely and confidently.

Even if you aren't a "Gun Person" you owe it to yourself to take the opportunity to learn about gun safety that way you'll know if someone around you is being unsafe. Your life and the lives of your loved ones are worth the training.

In 2014, while trying to find a way to decompress away from the campaign trail, Amber was invited to try the sport of trap shooting during a lunch break. She fell in love with the sport which has now turned into a full-time passion - helping empower women to arm themselves.
​
That day at the gun club opened up a new world to her, where a welcoming group of like-minded shooters embraced the new kid. It was awesome and what kept her coming back every week. It's where she connected with a coach who mentored her and ultimately become a great friend.
Shotgun Sally Trading, Co. officially launched in 2020 as an online community for freedom loving ladies who are just as passionate about the right to defend themselves and their loved ones.

Shotgun Sally was born from the soil at the trap range in Santa Maria and celebrates two incredible powerhouses that were meant to be together.
The shotgun is the tool used to perform the sport that has become Amber's yoga; and Sally is the great love and wife of Mark Payne. Mark was Amber's coach and friend.
